VoIP - Voice Over IP - Instead of using conventional voice-based networks, a new trend is emerging where voice will be digitized and sent across new Internet-based networks. By making analog voice signals digital, you can ship the voice over IP-based networks.  This trend is based on data applications taking up bigger bandwidth than voice.  This offers great opportunities for mobile computing in future.
