of Web-based Travel Services to Wireless Phones Phone.com and
GetThere.com, today announced an agreement to bring the next level of
Web-based travel services through Internet-ready mobile phones. Wireless
network operators offering MyPhone™, the first mobile portal service
from Phone.com™, are now able to offer subscribers ready access to their
travel itineraries. In addition, business travelers are now able to
receive travel alerts and soon, GetThere expects to offer the ability to
book flights and make changes to travel itineraries while on the go.
GetThere.com is providing its Mobile Manager technology to Phone.com to
enable the MyPhone service with travel information.
