January 5 – SmartServ Online Demonstrates Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) – Compliant Application at Consumer Electronics Show

SmartServ, Online, Inc., a provider of Web and wireless transactions enabling solutions, announced that it would be demonstrating its WAP-compliant real-time financial information and trading application – Wireless Broker – at the 2000 Consumer Electronic Show.

At present, Wireless Broker is available to financial brokerages, wanting to capitalize on the growing market of mobile data users. The product is customized to the brokers’ preferences including real-time snap quotes, watch list, news by symbol, trade order entry and summary (blotter). Recently, SmartServe incorporated Diversinet’s Passport Certificate to provide end-to-end security and digital signature capabilities for the Wireless Broker.
